Aesthetic interiors

Prize of Interior Space 2015

The Bourg-la-Reine public library, which has just received the "Award of Interior Space 2015" by Livres Hebdo is a fine example of collaboration between architect and library. The result shows that aesthetics does not take precedence over the functional or vice versa.

The furniture that is specifically made for this library, in oak or white lacquered for the large wall shelvings, is designed with flexibility and adaptability to future changes and developments, which also characterize the standard product range.

The argument of the Livres Hebdo jury speaks for itself:
"... most of the jury agreed on the interiors airy and high aesthetic quality, which offers differentiated atmospheres. In spite of the large open volumes, the atmosphere is friendly with the light oak furniture and bright colors of the seating."
