New university library in Luxembourg
Lammhults Biblioteksdesign has been awarded the honor of delivering the library furniture for the new university library “La Maison du Livre” of Le Fonds Belval, in Luxembourg.
The committee of Le Fonds Belval has selected the Uniflex shelving system as their preferred solution. Special features in this project like the integrated LED lightning and the integration of new digital technologies underline our expertise in library design.
The actual library houses around 5.000 illuminated shelves spread out over 4 floors. The library design is a transboundary collaboration between VALENTINY hvp architects, Ligne et couleur consultancy firm France and the people and architects of Le Fonds Belval, Luxembourg.
