Barrhead Foundry’s library has just reached award-winning status by being presented with the ‘Best new library’ award at the Edge Conference, Edinburgh in March 2016.

EDGE2016 highlights and rewards good practice in innovative library and information projects. There are three awards for innovation in the categories Physical, Social and Digital. Barrhead library won the award in the Physical category. The purpose of the awards is to recognise positive achievements and promote outstanding library-based initiatives which celebrate the value of libraries.
