The refurbishment of the Claude Ramsey Library is a prime example of how a clever vision can be realized

Co-located with Thamesmere Leisure Centre, the library was tucked away and separated from the rest of the Centre by a wall. Therefore, when the main reception area was to be refurbished, our client Diana Edmonds, Head of Libraries at GLL, took the opportunity for the library to be renovated and redesigned as well. Her vision was to break down the boundaries between the Library and the Leisure Centre and bringing the library to the forefront of services offered at the Centre.
