On the 1st May 2024 we celebrate the 25^th anniversary of CEO Mikael Kjeldsen’s career at Lammhults Biblioteksdesign. Initially joining as CFO, he rose quickly to the role of CEO. Here we reflect upon his exemplary leadership in that capacity.

Under his guidance, the company has achieved successful progression advancement, maintaining a steady pipeline within a project-oriented market that spans across multiple European territories and various other export markets. Lammhults Biblioteksdesign, along with its six European sister companies, has garnered significant international acclaim over decades for their library designs worldwide, a specialized inventory portfolio for libraries and a popular selection of furniture and accessories for libraries, retailed through their European webshops. The company operates as a division within the publicly listed Swedish conglomerate Lammhults Design Group.

Mikael has steered the company through acquisitions, establishment of new units, production outsourcing, digitalization, financial crisis and pandemics, demonstrating an impressive ability to deliver results while managing changes and challenges. His expertise in sales, change management and risk management has been invaluable.

Mikael is a warm and dedicated leader, often seen with a smile and a keen eye for detail. He is a committed Liverpool fan, a devoted family person and vacation enthusiast. His ability to balance between professionalism and personal care has been a source of inspiration for us all.
