Mons disclosures voluminous collection in new library

Mons Centre Littérature disclosures the extensive heritage of lawyer, bibliophile and patron Léon Losseau. Together with the wonderful adjacent Art Nouveau house, the historic building was thoroughly renovated and made public as information centre and library.

The focus is on accessibility and a welcoming interior with, next to the Uniflex shelving, study tables, comfortable seating, a cosy comics corner and room for expositions. The light, contemporary interior allows the reader to enjoy literature, but equally offers space for encounters and experiences. With success: visitors have embraced the library as the new hotspot of Mons, in 2015 the Cultural Capital of Europe.
