A combi library in new surroundings

The new library "Biblioteket Kilden" (The library Source) is a combination of a public library and school library. The library is located at the school "Kildegaardskolen" in Herlev and is the merging of the school library and the previous Hjortespring public library.

The name refers to the name of the school, but also that the library is a source of learning, knowledge and community.

The interior is a combination of existing furniture and new furniture. Some retro furniture have been restored and reupholstered and now add character to the library.

Colours on selected furniture, walls and carpets bring the library to life in a calm and relaxed setting.
