This large historical mill building in the city of Paris accommodates the new library of the University, Paris 7 in the east of the city near the river Seine.

The architect has well succeeded in maintaining the monumental character of this industrial building from the beginning of the 20th century. The structure and effect of industrial surfaces such as non-finished concrete have been maintained as design elements.

The five-storey building is located around an atrium and offers free access to a total of 250,000 media and 1,500 working spaces. The choice of the furniture was based upon special studies on function and durability of the individual parts. Our UNIFLEX shelves were chosen for their compatibility with the architectural design criteria in combination with the industrial-age architecture.
