A true landmark and learning centre

After a substantial refurbishment, inside and out, the Longsight Library is set to be a true landmark and learning centre. The old red-bricked building has transformed into sleek glass box flooding with light. It is filled with the learning resources, technology and relaxation areas with a café and even a kitchen for visitors.

The library is equipped with Classic Steel Shelving System and specially made key pieces of furniture, designed to highlight the current quick pick furniture. The library share the same basic concept as Beswick, Brooklands and the Central Library in Manchester, but the unique colour themes and a couple of characteristics details give the library its own identity.
