Durable materials combined with vibrant colours

Florenville Public Library is part of a municipal project that aims to bring different users together in the same building. By the entrance is a spacious counter with easy access for people with limited mobility. The wooden shelving systems are nicely combined with colourful seating furniture.

Librarians Jenny Guillaume and Isabelle Prévost describe the library as a pleasant place to stay: “The library is very user-friendly. Families and school children enjoy the manageable and accessible interior of the library. We have gathered books and other media for teens and adults in the same room to optimize the space utilisation and provide easier access. In the children’s library, we have found that our special podium is very popular.”
