The library in Kallhäll is the first open, unmanned library in Järfälla municipality

Previously the library was located in "Folkets Hus" (community house), but as this space was not suitable for library use, the library moved into new premises in august 2016. The library is now located on the ground floor next to the town square in Kallhäll.

The library area are now larger; 400 sqm and with many activities. The children's area has been expanded and children now has access to their own cozy corner. In addition to reading and borrowing, you can now book group rooms, study, use computers, attend language courses and much more. Great emphasis has been put on clear signage and with calm colours on walls and floors while the interior is predominantly in white.
