Schoten Public Library feels just like a second home

The main library of Schoten has been a reference within the library landscape for many years. Partly because of the way it functions, but also because of its design coming of the hand of architect Renaat Braem. Originally opened in 1974 and now reopened after a 5-year renovation.

The aim of Braem was to create a building with a playful and organically shaped architecture that works as a cultural magnet for young and old. With this philosophy in mind, we have designed the new interior of the library.
An open spacious design with special attention to book presentation, pleasant seating areas with a coffee corner, self-service desk, WiFi for byod, a bluetooth listening chair and many more elements to be discovered in the library.
