New library of Ternat is a multi-media knowledge centre
The new library of Ternat was designed as a meeting point and knowledge centre where visitors get access to information through all kinds of media. The bright interior invites to meet, work and relax. In the fully glazed library the shelving are lined out as a second facade around polyvalent open spaces. Quiet zones are separated from lively areas. RFID and e-counters enable the librarians to spent more time with visitors. With focus on accessibility, ergonomics, and customer-friendly service, this contemporary library makes culture and information within reach to all.
