All-round library for everyone

Leisure and cultural facilities are combined in the new children’s culture house that exists of a school, a school library, and a pop-up library.

Thus, ”the library under the stairs” works as a waiting area for users of the sports centre. Displays with built-in seating open towards the culture hall and encourage the visitors to spend time among the books. It is up to you to decide, if you want to use the activities of the building or immerse yourself in one of the reading caves.

The library stands out with its decorative elements that creates a playful and biophilic expression. At the same time, the library blends in perfectly with the rest of the building as the colours have been chosen to support the warm colour palette of red and blue green colours that is prominent for the entire culture house.
