New library at University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK) Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen at Campus Weinberg, headoffice Hildesheim

The University was previously located in 16 buildings spread across 8 locations. The heart of the new campus is the library building being the highest and most striking building with 7 full storeys - including five storeys for the library with nearly 2000 square meters and two lecture halls / seminar rooms. The relocated inventory includes 70,000 media, books and CD/DVDs.

Equipped with technical innovations such as electronic information system paths, book delivery service via radio chip, computer work stations, WiFi, a cutting-edge learning lounge and extensive digital make the library a frontrunner

In addition to the technology the architecture and interior design are also contemporary. A continuous color concept provides a pleasant atmosphere to study and work.
