A legal library in a new, contemporary look

In 2015 the CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) moved into their new building in the heart of Luxembourg. A legal library was necessary for the agents of the CSSF so they can easily consult the available documentation. The library had to be good consulted for externals as well.

The steel shelving in neutral colors were chosen to give a visually modern look where the attention goes to the available documents, rather than to the furniture.

The wooden shelving were chosen to create a good balance between the new interior and the older books. Another important factor which had to be taken into account was the establishment that a maximum of documents could be presented in a limited area.

Librarian Nora Humbert:

"Thanks to the good signage on the shelves, it is easy for anyone to quickly find the right document. Our visitors are very pleased with the new arrangement and the number of visitors grew substantially. We already had positive experiences in the past with Schulz Benelux and also because they met our requirements the best with their proposal, we chose them."
