Jarrow Hub opens to the community of South Tyneside after £3million revamp
The Jarrow Focus building is now a multi-purpose leisure centre and includes a brand-new library. Thedesignconcept were thrilled to be involved in the regeneration project. The new library is contemporary and offers the community a space to relax, learn and participate in events.
Our ratio shelving range is used to offer complete flexibility to the library staff, allowing them to adapt the library for events and community meetings. Contemporary furniture brightens the space and makes users feel at home. PC’s are available for public use and there is a gaming area for teens to enjoy. The children’s area features a storytelling chair, animal themed furniture and stunning graphics to bring the space to life and encourage imagination.
